One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 158 near Midland

1 Killed in Midland Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 158

Midland, Texas (July 18, 2020) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning, seven miles east of Midland, according to DPS.

The fatal crash happened just before 8:30 a.m. July 17, on State Highway 158.

DPS said a pickup and a large truck were traveling eastbound on the highway when the truck attempted to make a turn and was rear-ended by the pickup at a high rate of speed.

The pickup driver was killed in the crash.

The truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
