Two Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at Southwest Boulevard and Loop 306

San Angelo, Texas (March 21, 2023) – Two people were injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on March 20, at the intersection of Southwest Boulevard and the Loop 306 frontage road in front of the new McDonald’s restaurant and the Firestone Tire shop.

Authorities said a black Dodge pickup was traveling northbound on Southwest Blvd at the light while a black Dodge Challenger passenger car was traveling eastbound on the frontage road.

The vehicles collided at the intersection, and both drivers claimed they had a green light and the right of way at the time of the crash.

The driver and child passenger in the Challenger were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No citations were issued at the scene because both drivers claimed they had the right of way.

The crash remains under investigation.
