Man Critically Injured in Southwest Austin Pedestrian Crash on Capital of Texas Highway

Austin, Texas (January 9, 2019) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a vehicle in southwest Austin on Tuesday night, according to the authorities.
The crash was reported at about 9:37 p.m. January 8 in the 3600 block of Southbound Loop 360 (Capital of Texas Highway) near MoPac Boulevard.
The Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the incident and performed CPR on the victim who suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident.
ATCEMS transported the victim to St. David’s South for treatment.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
