Man Injured in San Angelo Pedestrian Accident on Beauregard and Garrett

San Angelo, Texas (June 13, 2019) – A man was struck and injured by a vehicle at an intersection in San Angelo on Wednesday, according to police.

The collision took place at Beauregard and Garrett  on Wednesday, June 12.

Police said a man was loading a vehicle onto a trailer when a silver Ford swerved into the side and crashed into the man and the truck.

The man sustained serious injuries and was transported to Shannon.

Police said the driver of the Ford allegedly tried to pick up a fallen sandwich leading to the collision.

The driver was cited for failure to control speed.
