Pedestrian Injured in Crash on US 67 in San Angelo

One Injured in San Angelo Pedestrian Accident on US 67 and Douglas Loop

San Angelo, Texas (August 14, 2023) – A pedestrian was injured early Monday morning in a crash between San Angelo and Miles, according to the Texas DPS.

The accident happened around 6:00 a.m., in the area of US 67 N and Douglas Loop.

DPS said a Toyota 4Runner was traveling southbound on US 67 when the driver saw a man in the roadway. The driver swerved to avoid the man but struck him with the passenger-side rearview mirror. The victim was taken to Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo with incapacitating injuries.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
