1 Killed in Houston Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Tanner Road near West Sam Houston Tollway

Houston, Texas (August 7, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident Monday morning in Houston, according to the police.

The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. August 5, in the 10600 block of Tanner Road near the West Sam Houston Tollway.

Police said a male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the roadway. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.

Paramedics responded to the scene and declared the victim dead.
