One Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on U.S. Highway 175 near St. Augustine Drive

Dallas, Texas (July 21, 2020) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle early Tuesday morning in Dallas, according to deputies.

The deadly accident happened around 4:30 a.m., on eastbound U.S. Highway 175 near South St. Augustine Drive.

Deputies said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, on the highway.

The victim was declared dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
