Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash near Lackland Road in Fort Worth

1 Killed in Fort Worth Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Lackland Road

Fort Worth, Texas (February 7, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed Tuesday evening in a hit-and-run accident in Fort Worth, according to the police.

The accident occurred around 6:35 p.m., February 4, near 3100 Lackland Road.

Police said the pedestrian was crossing the street when they were hit by a black Nissan Murano.

The victim was killed in the crash.

The driver of the Nissan fled the scene after the accident. 

According to the authorities, the black car was manufactured between 2015 and 2019. It has heavy body damage to the front left fender, missing or broken molding and body pieces, and a headlight is out.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call Fort Worth police at 817-392-4889.
