Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Highway 90 near Acme Road

San Antonio, Texas (November 1, 2023) – A man was killed Monday night in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio’s West Side, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:40 p.m., October 30, in the eastbound lanes of Highway 90 near Acme Road.

Police said the man, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, was walking along the solid white line of the shoulder lane when a vehicle hit him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver fled the scene after the accident. If found the driver will face charges of failure to stop and render aid resulting in death.

The police are investigating the crash.
