Person Hit, Critically Injured by Car on Bee Caves Road in Austin

One Critically Injured in Austin Pedestrian Accident at Bee Caves Road and Walsh Tarlton Lane

Austin, Texas (February 26, 2021) – A person was critically injured in a pedestrian accident Friday morning in Austin, according to officials.

The accident happened just after 5:00 a.m., at the intersection of Bee Caves Road and Walsh Tarlton Lane.

Officials said a person was struck by a car at the intersection.

The victim was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.

The accident closed the eastbound lanes of Bee Caves Road.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
