Phillip Cochran ID’d as Driver Killed in Abilene Multi-Vehicle Crash on Judge Ely Boulevard at Abilene Christian School

Abilene, Texas (October 10, 2019) – The driver who was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Wednesday in Abilene has been identified as Phillip Cochran, 39, according to the police.

The crash took place on Wednesday, October 9, in the parking lot of Abilene Christian School, along Judge Ely Boulevard.

Police said Cochran was driving a Dodge pickup truck northbound on Judge Ely Boulevard when he veered off the roadway and crashed into at least eight vehicles in the parking lot.

Cochran was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.

One person in one of the parked vehicles was taken to Hendrick Hospital in unknown condition.

The Abilene Police Traffic Division is investigating the crash.
