Police Officer Hit, Injured while Directing Traffic at Robert B Cullum Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue in Dallas

Police Officer Injured in Dallas Pedestrian Accident at Robert B Cullum Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue

Dallas, Texas (October 13, 2019) – A Dallas police officer was hit by a vehicle Saturday night while directing traffic near the State Fair grounds in South Dallas, according to the police.

The accident occurred around 10:20 p.m. on October 12, in the area of Robert B Cullum Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police said a driver allegedly went around a barricade at the intersection and hit the officer.

The officer was taken to Baylor Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol was a possible factor in the accident.

An investigation is underway.
