Two Killed in Williamson County Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 195

Williamson County, Texas (February 25, 2022) – Two people were killed early Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Williamson County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash occurred around 4:35 a.m., February 23, on SH 195, about three miles south of Florence.

DPS said a 2017 Dodge Journey was traveling southbound on the highway when it struck a semi-truck and trailer.

The Journey then went across the northbound lanes and then onto the unimproved shoulder of Old State Highway 195.

The Journey driver, a 28-year-old man, and the passenger, a 9-year-old boy, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash closed the southbound lanes of the highway.

The crash remains under investigation.
