Flagger Killed in Schertz Pedestrian Accident on Schertz Parkway

Schertz, Texas – A flagger was hit and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning in Schertz, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 5:55 a.m., February 8, in the 5800 block of Schertz Parkway.

Police said a flagger for a nearby business was attempting to block the roadway so an equipment vehicle could be moved when they were struck by a southbound vehicle.

The flagger was killed in the crash.

The driver stopped after hitting the flagger.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
