Eusebio Salazar Killed in El Paso Two-Vehicle Crash on North Zaragoza Road

El Paso, Texas (September 11, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was injured on Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in east El Paso, according to police.

The crash happened on September 9, in the 1700 block of North Zaragoza Road.

Police said 87-year old Eusebio Salazar of El Paso was driving southbound when he failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn and collided with a 2010 Ford Edge driven by 18-year old Eian Nevarez.

Salazar and Nevarez were taken to the hospital where Salazar later died. Nevarez was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
