2 Injured in Pin-In Crash on South Interstate Highway Service Road in Austin

2 Seriously Injured in Austin Crash on South Interstate Highway Service Road near Oltorf Street

Austin, Texas (June 16, 2019) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred at about 1:56 a.m. June 15, in the 2100 block of South Interstate Highway Service Road, just north of Oltorf Street.

Details of how the collision occurred were not immediately available.

Authorities said one person was ejected and was pinned between two cars. A second person was pinned in their vehicle.

The two victims were extricated and were taken to South Austin Medical Center with serious, but not expected to be life-threatening injuries.

Two other people involved in the crash were uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
