Curtis Cobb ID’d as Man Killed in Andrews County Crash at Highway 176 and FM 181
Andrews County, Texas (February 8, 2019) – Authorities have identified the man who was killed Tuesday morning in a traffic crash involving a pair of semi-truck at an intersection near Andrews as Curtis Cobb, 63, of Alamogordo, New Mexico.
The tragic wreck was reported at about 9:27 a.m. Tuesday, February 5 at the intersection of Highway 176 and FM 181, approximately 12 miles north of Andrews.
According to the DPS, a semi-truck driven by Cobb, ran a red light and collided with another semi-truck operated by Napoleon Espinosa-Morales.
Cobb was declared dead at the scene while Espinosa-Morales was transported to Medical Center Hospital in an unknown condition.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
