Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on SH 35 near Aransas Pass

Woman Killed in Aransas Pass Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 35

Aransas Pass, Texas (December 1, 2020) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday night, 3 miles south of Aransas Pass, according to the DPS.

The deadly accident happened at about 10:40 p.m., November 28, on State Highway 35 bypass.

DPS said the woman was found lying in the center median. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers believe the woman was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with information about the crash or the identity of the woman is asked to call Texas Highway Patrol at 361-698-5600.
