36-Year-Old Man Killed in Trinity Pedestrian Accident on Highway 19 at Kelly Street

Trinity, Texas (December 26, 2021) – A 36-year-old man was killed early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Trinity, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 2:20 a.m., December 25, on Highway 19 at Kelly Street.

Police said the man was lying on the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The suspect vehicle was described as a small, dark in color, possibly dark green, Honda car. It was last seen traveling northbound towards Crockett on Highway 19. It could possibly have damage on its front side.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with any information that may lead to the identification of the driver of the suspected vehicle is asked to call your local law enforcement or crime stoppers program.
