Reta McAlpin Dies Two Days after Tarrant Crash on Highway 79 near Pinehill Road

Tarrant, Texas (June 17, 2023) – The woman who died on Thursday, two days after a crash in Tarrant has been identified as Reta Faye McAlpin, 68, of Warrior.

The crash happened at around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, on Highway 79  near Pinehill Road.

McAlpin was driving on Highway 79 when she collided with an 18-wheeler.

McAlpin was transported to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
