Reynaldo Cardoza Dies in Edinburg Traffic Accident on FM 1925 near Cesar Chavez Road

Edinburg, Texas (May 18, 2019) – A deadly two-vehicle collision left both drivers dead early friday morning near Edinburg, according to a DPS report.
One of the drivers was identified as 53-year-old Ediburng man Reynaldo Cardoza.
The wreck took place at about 5:25 a.m. May 17, on FM 1925 east of Cesar Chavez Road.
According to DPS, Cardoza was in a Chevrolet Suburban heading east in the westbound side of FM 1925 when he collided head-on with a westbound Chevrolet pickup truck.
Cardoza was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was also killed in the crash. A passenger in the pickup suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
The DPS is working to determine the cause of the crash.
