One Killed in Kaufman Multi-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 175

Kaufman, Texas (June 28, 2019) – One person was killed and several others injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Thursday evening in Kaufman.

According to the Kaufman Police Department, the wreck took place at around 5 p.m. Thursday, June 27, on U.S. Highway 175.

Police said five vehicles were involved in the collision.

One person was pronounced deceased at the scene following the crash. The victim’s identity was not immediately released pending notification of the next of kin.

Several people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Kaufman Police Department is investigating the crash.
