Three Critically Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 151

San Antonio, Texas (March 28, 2021) – Three people were critically injured early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s West Side, according to police.

The crash happened around 12:45 a.m. on State Highway 151 between Military Drive and Westover Hills.

Police said a black pickup truck was parked on the side of the highway when it was rear-ended by a silver sedan.

The impact caused the sedan to roll down an embankment.

Firefighters had to use Jaws of Life to extricate the sedan driver from his vehicle. He was taken to the hospital with major injuries and was listed in critical condition.

A couple who were in the pickup truck was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

The crash closed the highway.

The crash remains under investigation.
