Ricky Self Killed in Temple Two-Vehicle Crash on Avenue H 

Temple, Texas (November 5, 2022) – The man who was killed on Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in Temple has been identified as 68-year-old Ricky Self, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 8:23 a.m., November 2, on E. Avenue H.

Police said Self was driving westbound when his vehicle swerved into the path of an oncoming truck, resulting in a collision.

Self was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
