Robert Taylor Killed in Bell County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

Bell County, Texas (August 27, 2021) – According to the Texas DPS, one person was killed Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Bell County.

The fatal crash happened on August 25, on Interstate 35.

DPS said Robert Daniel Taylor, 44, of Jarrell, was driving a 2012 black Ford F-150 southbound on the interstate while a truck tractor semi-trailer that had broken down was parked on the southbound shoulder of the interstate.

For unknown reasons, the Ford drifted onto the right shoulder and rear-ended the parked semi-truck.

Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information regarding the crash was available.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
