Rohit Khanna Killed in Carrollton Two-Vehicle Crash at Keller Springs Road and Willowgate Lane; Joseph Warren Arrested

Carrollton, Texas (November 4, 2021) – One person was killed, and two others were seriously injured on Monday in a two-vehicle crash involving a stolen vehicle in Carrollton, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened on November 1, at the intersection of Keller Springs Road and Willowgate Lane.

Authorities said Joseph Demarcus Warren, 29, of Dallas, was driving a Lexus at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light at the intersection and T-boned a car driven by Rohit Khanna, 29, of Carrollton.

The Lexus had been reported stolen about 30 minutes earlier at a convenience store near Dallas Love Field.

Khanna was pronounced dead at the scene. His passengers, two 29-year-old men, were taken to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano with serious injuries.

Warren was also taken to the hospital and was released on November 3. He was then arrested and taken to the Carrollton City Jail. He has been charged with murder for “committing an act clearly dangerous to human life during the commission of a felony.”

An investigation is ongoing.
