Serious Injuries Reported in Eastland County 18-Wheeler Crash on Interstate 20

Eastland County, Texas (October 29, 2022)Serious injuries were reported Friday afternoon following an 18-wheeler crash in Eastland County, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened on October 28, on Interstate 20 near milepost 338.

DPS said an 18-wheeler was heading eastbound on the interstate when it crossed over into the westbound lane and crashed into another 18-wheeler. A third 18-wheeler crashed into the other two 18-wheelers.

One of the 18-wheelers caught fire after the crash.

Serious injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash closed the westbound lane, but it has since been reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
