Rosio Cabeza De Vaca Killed in Donna Hit-and-Run Crash on Business 83 and Midway Road; Ricardo Martinez Wanted

Donna, Texas – One person was killed on Christmas Day in a hit-and-run accident in Donna, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 6:49 p.m., on December 25, in the 3700 block of Business 83 and Midway Road.

Authorities said Ricardo Martinez, 36, was driving a gray Dodge Nitro when he rear-ended a black Mazda car.

Martinez fled the scene after the crash.

Rosio Cabeza De Vaca, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The passenger with Martinez during the crash was taken into custody and cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information on Martinez’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Donna Police Department.
