Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Walzem Road near Abby Place

San Antonio, Texas (July 13, 2022) – A man in his 30s was killed Tuesday night in a hit-and-run accident on San Antonio’s Northeast Side, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:20 p.m., on July 12, on Walzem Road near Abby Place.

Police said a man in his 30s was driving a 2-door sedan northbound when he struck a man who had run out into the street.

The man was then hit again by a dark-colored sport utility vehicle and dragged roughly 30 feet. 

The SUV fled the scene after the accident.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
