Sandra Camp Dies 5 Days after 2-Vehicle Crash on North Highway 183 in Early

Sandra Camp ID’d as Woman Killed in Early Crash on North Highway 183 at Heartland Drive

Early, Texas (July 28, 2022) – The woman who died Wednesday, five days after a two-vehicle accident in Early has been identified as Sandra Camp.

The crash happened on Friday, July 22, on North Highway 183 at Heartland Drive.

According to the Early Police Department, a 1999 blue Ford Taurus, driven by Camp, was making a left turn from Heartland Drive towards the City of May when a 2021 blue Toyota Corolla struck the Taurus on the side.

Camp and the driver of the Corolla were transported to Hendricks Hospital in Brownwood. Camp was later transferred to Scott and White Hospital in Temple, where she succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday, July 27.

Early Police Department is investigating the accident.
