Woman Killed in Bellaire Scooter Crash on Bissonnet near Maple Ridge

Bellaire, Texas (July 20, 2019) – A woman was killed in a crash between a vehicle and a scooter rider on Friday morning in Bellaire, according to the police.

The collision happened just before 9 a.m. July 19, on Bissonnet near Maple Ridge.

Police said a woman was riding a scooter out of a private driveway when a truck hit her.

The woman, who was not immediately identified, died in the collision.

The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The crash is under investigation.
