Members of the Waco Volunteer Fire Department Injured in Interstate 80 Crash in Waco
Waco, Texas (February 24, 2019) – Members of the Waco Volunteer Fire Department were injured Saturday afternoon in a traffic collision in Waco, according to a local news source.
The wreck happened on Interstate 80 Saturday, February 23.
As per the report, members of the WFD were responding to a traffic accident on Interstate 80 when a semi struck two of their trucks.
Several members of the WFD were transported to nearby hospitals with unspecified injuries.
According to a local news source, one of those emergency responders was taken to a Lincoln hospital where that patient was listed in critical condition.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
