Several Injured in Harris County Seven-Vehicle Crash on Eastex Freeway 

Harris County, Texas (August 14, 2022) – According to the authorities, several people, including a pregnant woman, were injured Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in north Harris County.

The crash happened around 9:01 a.m., on the Eastex Freeway.

Authorities said seven vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, were involved in the crash.

A pregnant woman, along with several other people, were taken to the hospital with major injuries.

All main lanes at Eastex Freeway southbound and Rankin Road were shut down due to the crash. 

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

The crash remains under investigation.
