Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Atascosa Hit-and-Run Crash on Luckey Road

Atascosa, Texas (January 28, 2023) – A pedestrian was seriously injured last month in a hit-and-run accident in Atascosa, according to the deputies.

The accident happened around 11:27 p.m. and 11:45 p.m., on December 29, in the 18600 block of Luckey Road.

Deputies said the pedestrian was walking from Boots and Heels Saloon when he was struck by a white van.

The van fled the scene heading southbound on Luckey Road towards Briggs Road and FM 2709.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the crash.

The authorities are looking for the hit-and-run driver.
