Fabian Gonzales Killed in Odessa Crash on Loop 338

Fabian Gonzales ID’d as Victim Killed in Fatal 2-Vehicle Crash on Loop 338 in Odessa

Odessa, Texas (May 9, 2022) – Authorities have identified the man who person who died following a car crash early Friday morning in Odessa as Fabian Gonzales.

According to the Odessa Police Department, the deadly crash occurred at about 12:58 am. on May 6 in the 6500 block of N. Loop 338.

Police said Gonzales was driving a 2021 Kia northbound in the inside lane of the 6500 block N. Loop 338 when he failed to slow down and rear-ended a 2017 F-250 driven by Logan Kenney of Gardendale.

Both vehicles lost control after the impact.

Gonzales was taken to MCH, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Kenney and his passenger were treated at the crash site and released.

No other details were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
