Timothy Nickelbur Killed in Tyler Pedestrian Accident on Troup Highway near Loop 323

Tyler, Texas (April 21, 2021) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Tyler, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 7:00 a.m., April 20, in the 3300 block of Troup Highway, near Loop 323.

Police said Timothy Nickelbur, 30, of Tyler, was walking westbound across the highway, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.

Nickelbur was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

No further details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
