Couple Injured in Angleton Three-Vehicle Crash on FM 523

Angleton, Texas (August 8, 2021) – According to the police, an elderly couple was injured Saturday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash in Angleton.

The crash occurred around 1:12 p.m., August 7, at the intersection of FM 523 and its southbound freeway ramp, over Highway 288.

Police said a red Toyota and a black Tahoe collided at the intersection. The Tahoe was then rear-ended by an approaching eastbound grey truck.

An elderly couple was airlifted to a Houston hospital with unknown injuries.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
