Bus Driver Killed in Crash with 2 Semi-Trucks on I-35 in Hillsboro

One Killed in Hillsboro Bus Crash on Interstate 35

Hillsboro, Texas (May 17, 2020) – A bus driver was killed early Sunday morning in a traffic collision involving two semi-trucks in Hillsboro, according to authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 35 near mile marker 365.

Hillsboro DPS said the crash involved a bus and semi-trucks.

The bus driver was declared dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

One of the semi-truck drivers was taken to a Waco hospital for treatment.

Hillsboro DPS is investigating the crash.
