Two Injured in Fire Truck Crash on LBJ Freeway in Dallas

Man, Woman Injured in Dallas Fire Truck Crash on LBJ Freeway near St. Augustine Street

Dallas, Texas (October 5, 2020) – Two people were injured overnight in a two-vehicle crash involving a fire-truck in Dallas, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on LBJ Freeway near St. Augustine Street.

Officials said the fire truck was blocking the lanes of the freeway while the crews were working on a crash scene. A speeding pickup truck then crashed into the side of the fire-truck.

All four members of the crew who were inside the cab at the time of the crash were uninjured in the crash.

A man and a woman in the pickup truck were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
