Two Injured in Orange County Two-Vehicle Crash near Highway 105

Orange County, Texas – Two people were injured Monday afternoon in a head-on collision in Orange County, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened around 12:20 p.m., March 4, near Highway 105, near the 446-mile marker.

DPS said a 2007 Honda Civic was traveling eastbound while a 2012 Honda Accord was traveling westbound.

The 2007 Honda was traveling around a curve at an unsafe speed during rainy weather, causing the driver to lose control, drive into oncoming traffic, and crash head-on into the 2012 Honda.

The driver of the 2007 Honda was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the 2012 Honda was taken to Baptist Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
