Two Injured in Amarillo Pedestrian Accident on Southeast 10th near Ross

Amarillo, Texas (November 7, 2023) – Two people were injured on Monday in a crash involving a pedestrian in Amarillo, according to the police.

The crash happened around noon, November 6, on Southeast 10th near Ross.

Police said a woman was walking across the street when she was struck by a pickup truck.

The truck then hit a traffic box knocking out the traffic signals at the intersection, before hitting a building.

The woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The pickup driver had to be extricated and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The police are investigating the crash.
