Two Injured in Tractor Crash on FM 1600 in Milam County

25-Year Old and 55-Year-Old Injured in Milam County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1600

Milam County, Texas (January 29, 2020) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision Monday morning in Milam County, southwest of Cameron, according to the DPS.

The crash took place on Monday, January 27, on FM 1600.

DPS said a Peterbilt tractor-trailer carrying sand was heading southbound when it rear-ended a southbound Case farm tractor. It was very foggy at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Case tractor, a 25-year-old from Cameron, was ejected as the tractor rolled over. He was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple in serious condition.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 55-year-old from Kingsland, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
