38-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Southwest Freeway (US 59)

Houston, Texas (November 19, 2022) – A 38-year-old man was killed Sunday night in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:25 p.m., November 13, in the 6100 block of Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) service road.

Police said the man was crossing the exit ramp on foot when he was struck by a southbound black Cadillac ATS.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Cadillac driver remained at the scene, where he was questioned and released. He was not impaired at the time of the accident.

The police are investigating the crash.
