Two Injured in Orange County Two-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 62 near Hickory Bend

Orange County, Texas (October 29, 2020) – Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Orange County, according to troopers.

The crash was reported around 8:00 p.m., October 28, on Highway 62 near Hickory Bend Drive, north of Mauriceville.

Troopers said a 2016 Chevrolet pickup was traveling northbound on SH 62 when it attempted to turn left onto Hickory Bend and hit the driver’s side of a southbound 2010 Chevrolet.

Both drivers were taken to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
