Yabsmin Coca, Ayan Calvard Killed in Rear-End Collision at Texas 73 and West Arthur in Port Arthur

Yasmin Coca and Ayan Calvard ID’d as 2 Victims Killed in Port Arthur Crash at Texas 73 and West Port Arthur

Port Arthur, Texas (July 14, 2023) – The two people who died following a two-vehicle crash in Port Arthur have been identified as Yasmin Coca,29, and Ayan Calvard, 30.

The deadly crash happened at around 12:38 a.m. at the intersection of Texas 73 and West Port Arthur.

Police said a Dodge Charger, occupied by Coca and Calvard, was stopped at the light at the intersection of Texas 73 and West Port Arthur Road headed northbound when the driver of a tanker truck struck the Charger from behind.

Coca and Calvard were kiled in the Crash.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was not seriously injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
