2 Killed in Semi-Truck Accident on Beaumont Highway in Houston

Two Killed in Houston Crash on Beaumont Highway near Greens Bayou

Houston, Texas (April 1, 2023) – Two people were killed in a crash involving a semi-truck on Friday night in northeast Houston, according to a report by the Houston Police Department.

The deadly accident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, March 31, on Beaumont Highway near Greens Bayou.

Police said a car was speeding on Beaumont Highway when it collided with a big rig that was pulling out of a truck yard.

The driver and passenger of the car were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been released.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

No other information was immediately provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
