Two Injured in Goliad County Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 183

Goliad County, Texas – Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Goliad County, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on February 28, in the 8000 block of U.S. Highway 183 South.

According to the report, a Lincoln four-door tried to pass another driver and crashed into an oncoming 18-wheeler.

The Lincoln driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the 18-wheeler sustained minor injuries.

The driver of a third vehicle swerved to avoid the crash and the vehicle went into a pasture. That driver was uninjured in the crash.

It was foggy at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
