Two Injured in Motorcycle Accident on US 281 in Jack County

2 Injured in Jack County Motorcycle Accident on US 281 near Texas 16
Jack County, Texas (May 4, 2019) – Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident on Friday in Jack County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The collision occurred at an unspecified time on Friday, May 3, on US 281, just south of TX-16.
DPS said, four motorcycles were heading southbound on the highway when two of them collided due to wet road conditions.
One of the motorcycles slid across the highway before coming to a stop in a ditch along the northbound side, ejecting two people who were in it.
The rider was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital with serious injuries. The other victim’s condition was not disclosed.
The second rider was uninjured in the crash.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
