Two Children and School Bus Driver Injured in Muleshoe Multi-Vehicle Crash on US 84

Muleshoe, Texas (September 15, 2020) – Two children and a school bus driver were injured Monday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash west of Muleshoe, according to DPS.

The crash happened shortly after 4:41 p.m., September 14, on US 84.

DPS said a Muleshoe ISD school bus was stopped on eastbound US 84 and was unloading passengers. A passenger car and a passenger van were waiting behind the bus.

 failed to control their speed and rear-ended the van and the car before hitting the bus.

The bus driver and two children were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
