Woman Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run on Pace Street in Laredo; Alfredo Aguilar Jr Arrested

Woman Critically Injured in Laredo Pedestrian Accident on Pace Street; Alfredo Aguilar Jr Arrested

Laredo, Texas (August 8, 2023) – A woman was critically injured on Saturday in a hit-and-run accident in Laredo, according to the authorities.

The accident happened on August 5, in the 1000 block of Pace Street.

Authorities said the woman was struck by a vehicle on the street. The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The woman was taken to a San Antonio hospital in critical condition.

The next day, officers were able to find the vehicle believed to be involved in the crash as well as the driver, who was identified as Alfredo Aguilar Jr., 21. Aguilar is facing charges of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
